One form, read by a person, answered from the room's own mailbox. Name a piece from its listing, or tell us the floor you want to cover, and the reply carries the note, the photographs and a plain answer on whether the piece is still here.
There is no shopping basket on this site and no price list on any page. Every piece is one piece, so every sale begins with a question, and this is where the question goes.
Your message lands in the room's mailbox and nowhere else. It is read on the next working day at the latest, Tuesday to Saturday, and answered by a person, from the same mailbox, to the address you gave.
If you named a piece, the reply says first whether it is still in the room. If it is, the note follows: size to the centimetre, knot count, pile height, fibre and wear, with further photographs in daylight, close views of the pile and of the back, and the ends and edges in frame. If it has gone, the reply says so, and offers nothing in its place unless you asked for something like it.
If you sent a floor, the reply lists the pieces in the room that fit inside it, each with its note. If you asked a question the site has not answered, you get an answer, and if the answer is that the room does not do the thing, that is said plainly rather than passed to somebody who does.
Nothing is held and nothing is invoiced until you write back to say you want a piece. The form is a question, not an order.
Writing to it directly does the same as the form. Put the piece's name in the subject line and it is found faster.
